With the new year here and the old only a memory, people often take time to reflect on their lives and resolutions are usually made to make the new year better. People have been making New Year's Resolutions ever since a mythical king of early Rome named Janus started the tradition in the year 153 B.C. One can also be sure that people have been breaking resolutions for just as many centuries. So, why are new year's resolutions so difficult to keep, especially weight loss resolutions? Is it to big of a vision, or is it a lack of vision? Stay in or get out... What will you do? When potential military servicemembers are recruited, they join for patriotic reasons, for the promise of adventure, for the benefits of health and education, and sometimes even for the discipline military life brings.
