Big changes for FEP

Big changes are in store for NSB Kings Bay's Command Fitness Program that will provide a shot in the arm for the base's command fitness leaders and enhance physical readiness. The Integrated Fitness Enhancement Program, the brainchild of Command Master Chief CDMCM(SS/SW) Joe Kunz, is a plan in which all Kings Bay commands will have the option of participating in professionally run exercise routines Monday through Thursday, 6 to 7 a.m. [ More ]

CNO to visit Kings Bay tomorrow
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen will tour Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay during his trip through Camden County tomorrow. The trip is the result of an invitation from the cities of Kingsland, St. Marys and Woodbine, as well as many organizations around the county, including the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs, the Camden - Kings Bay Chapter of the U. S. Navy League, the Chamber of Commerce, the Camden County Black Business Association and the Republicans and Democrats of Camden County.

A celebration honoring the birth, legacy and memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was held Jan. 11 at the NSB Kings Bay chapel.
