Woodbine's International Fire Museum
Robert "Windy" Briese's interest in firefighting memorabilia and paraphernalia began when he was stationed at Fernandina Airfield in 1962. At that time, the base leased a local fire truck, and when the lease ran out, Windy arranged for Woodbine to lease its own truck. This provided transportation to the base and a new interest for Windy, igniting sparks for a collection that one day would become the Woodbine International Fire Museum.
