Maybe you should take a moment to think about what the expression really means in today's Navy. The Department of the Navy has worked hard to shake the old concepts of the Sailor's walk and drinking habits. However, it seems that not only are some service members continuing to abuse alcohol on a regular basis, many of them are losing their careers because of the bad decision to drive afterwards. Group Ten honors SOYs The Commander, Submarine Group Ten Sailors of the Year (SOY) met with Rear Adm. Timothy Giardina, Commander, Submarine Group Trident Feb. 13 in the first of many dignitary meetings and social functions meant to honor these outstanding Sailors. The Child Development Center has programs for children of all ages With most Navy spouses working during the day, it may become difficult to take care of an infant or toddler. Luckily, NSB Kings Bay has a Child Development Center with an outstanding program.
