Battle of the Midway memorial dinner scheduled
Tickets are now on sale for this year's Battle of Midway commemoration dinner, sponsored by the Mayport Navy League. This dinner will recognize what historians call one of the U.S. Navy's greatest sea victories and the turning point of World War II in the Pacific theater.

Fires force Kings Bay employees out of their homes
Many Southeast Georgia residents have followed the progress of this spring's wildfires with great interest on television. For most, the fires were just another reminder of what Mother Nature can do on bad day. However, three NSB Kings Bay employees experienced the 2007 Wildfire Season not on their television screens, but in their back yards.
