Nagle assumes command of SWFLANT. Former CO Capt. Susbilla retires after 25-year career

Having a secure and safe operation are two paramount benchmarks of Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT). The command uses the slogan of "One team, One fight" to achieve that goal. Guests and family members shared laughter and tears as Capt. Robert T. Susbilla turned over the reigns of SWFLANT to Capt. M. Rusty Nagle during a change of command and retirement ceremony June 5. Former Marine donates tropical fish to galley
A local business owner and former U.S. Marine Larry French donated more than $2,000 worth of accessories, tropical fish and a 55 gallon fish tank with a solid wood frame to the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Pirates Cove Galley in early May. A beautiful addition to the decor of the galley, the fish tank is home to more than a dozen various types of tropical fish, crabs and other fresh water creatures.


Kings Bay Navy Lodge employee honored
Kings Bay Navy Lodge employee Theresa Chamberlain was recently awarded as the 2007 Navy Lodge Associate of the Year at a conference in Orlando, Fla.
