Vets' groups welcome crew
"It's amazing; Alaska's arrival in Kings Bay has been the warmest welcome I've ever received," said Cmdr Paul Haebler, Commanding Officer, USS Alaska (SSBN 732) (Blue) at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8385 cookout on Saturday, July 11.

A Navy civilian employee at Trident Refit Facility Kings Bay was awarded the second highest civilian award, July 16.

Sea Cadets: Mission accomplished
Last week, a group of U.S. Naval Sea Cadets visited Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay for a week of advanced training involving exercises, drills, physical training and job shadowing.
