However, some Sailors may feel uncomfortable entrusting their personal money problems with a stranger. The alternative is seeking assistance from a command financial services specialist - trained through the FFSC - who can help walk a Sailor through financial problems and provides ways to manage their budgets and money better. [ More ] NSSC adopts school The Naval Submarine Support Center Kings Bay signed a formal agreement to adopt Sugar Mill Elementary School during a ceremony held Sept. 21. The agreement solidified the center's relationship as both a mentor and friend to the school and will open the door for future volunteer efforts. Navy leadership course needed for advancement What makes a great leader may be open for debate with different camps insisting skills are innate, while others maintain leadership is gained through experience. Regardless which side a person may take, one fact remains true: All second class petty officers through chief petty officers must attend the one-week Navy Leadership Course to advance. Boys and Girls Club & MWR team up for Day for Kids Belly bumpers, Jell-O eating contests and a marionette show were just a few of the events at this year's Boys and Girls Club of America Day for Kids.
