Second Harvest to conduct food drive in Camden
A drive to collect food for America's Second Harvest (ASH) of Southeast Georgia and for distribution to local relief and support agencies for people in need here will take place Oct. 27 to 31 at locations throughout Camden County.

Oct. 1 marked the beginning of the Housing Department's annual Resident Satisfaction Survey. The survey is a means for residents to write down positive and negative feedback about the housing community.

ASF Academy keeps NSB Kings Bay combat ready
America has been continually updating and changing its security measures to prevent a terrorist attack for more than six years. The threat of terrorist attacks is even more serious for military bases. That's why commands are required to augment their security forces with an Auxiliary Security Force (ASF). So how does NSB Kings Bay manage to pull this off? Local commands provide the personnel needed to man the ASF on an on-call basis while dedicated Navy Master-at-Arms and security contractors provide the training at the NSB Kings Bay ASF Academy.

The Kings Bay NMCRS is new and improved
Over the summer, the NMCRS office was moved to building 1032 directly behind Navy Federal Credit Union. With NMCRS occupying the entire building, clients have complete confidentiality and comfort. The new location offers more case work rooms, a Budget for Baby classroom, a new uniform locker that puts some retail stores to shame, a layette closet, a food locker, a spacious waiting room and a separate lobby for check-ins, check outs, and retrieving information.
