The Navy Marine Corps Relief Society relies heavily on its volunteer workers just to keep its doors opened each day. Volunteers can be members of the community, active duty or retired service personnel as well as their spouses, wishing to lend a helping hand. NMCRS openly welcomes anyone wishing to donate one day each week to doing casework, reception, or even making layettes, "junior sea bags," for our newborns. The NMCRS volunteers are simply individuals who wish to make a difference in the lives of our servicemembers by taking care of our own here on the home front.
